Alexis Dominguez is a Miami based artist whose influences include Salvador Dali and Saturday morning cartoons.  His art can be described as modern pop animation with a sardonic twist -- much like his humor.

 

His use of bright colors and skewed perspective allows for the exploration of one's darker side, minus any of the guilt.  Behind the guise of animation lays intricate storylines that are cleverly interwoven throughout the canvas -- a puzzle of sorts -- that guides the viewer through a hallucinogenic trip that bears no ill side-effects.
